About us and how it all began

At Dressedtothrill Doodles and Cavapoo's , dogs have never simply been a hobby — they have been a lifelong passion, a way of life, and part of our family story for generations.

From as far back as I can remember, our home was always filled with animals. Dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, horses, parrots — there was always life, love, and the unmistakable comfort that animals bring. I was incredibly fortunate to grow up in an environment where caring for animals wasn’t just encouraged, it was simply who we were.

My mum was a highly respected breeder and show judge of all three sizes of Poodle, and some of my earliest memories are of running around show rings as a young child, proudly handling dogs and completely immersed in that world. Those experiences shaped me from an early age and laid the foundations for the passion that would later become my life’s work.

As I grew older, that love evolved into a deep fascination with dogs, breeding, genetics, colour inheritance, health testing, and DNA profiling. I became determined not only to breed beautiful dogs, but to fully understand every aspect of responsible breeding at the very highest level.

Over the years, I have dedicated myself to continual education and development within the canine industry, completing qualifications and specialist courses including:
• Microchipping
• Artificial insemination
• Pregnancy scanning
• Canine first aid
• Dog welfare and handling
• Advanced welfare education
• Breeding and health-related studies

This journey ultimately led to achieving our local council breeding licence at the highest possible standard — a prestigious Five Star Council Licence, reflecting the exceptional care, welfare, knowledge, and standards we uphold every single day.

For us, breeding is about so much more than producing puppies. It is about preserving health, temperament, structure, and quality. It is about raising puppies correctly from the very beginning — with love, dedication, socialisation, knowledge, and an unwavering commitment to giving every puppy the very best possible start in life.
